Kia k5 apple carplay bluetooth

Bought a Kia K5 with wireless carplay. Carplay is singlehandedly making me considering returning the car as a whole.

My oh my where do i begin. Ive had this car for only but a week, and i’m very happy with it with the exception of 1 major flaw, being that the wireless carplay is basically useless. Every single trip that i make and i turn on carplay, at least twice or more during the trip my phone will disconnect itself from carplay and reconnect itself (sometimes it doesnt reconnect at all). Not only that, but music CONSTANTLY and i mean CONSTANTLY pauses itself i guess to buffer or load despite being saved in my phone. Its like the music stutters, and when my phone reconnects, all music stops. To the point where every other song is butchered and sounds glitched. I called my salesman, and he said its a Wireless carplay issue that apple is fixing yet i see threads here as far back as 2019 about it. How can I fix this and what do i do? I have an iphone X and work at AT&T so i’m quite competent with phones and attempted basic troubleshooting already (reconnected carplay to my phone, turned off wifi, even changed device name, etc)

Apple Car Play disconnects randomly from my iPhone 12 My Apple CarPlay in my 2021 Chevrolet Silverado randomly started disconnecting from my iPhone 12. Сопряжение с вашим смартфоном

Загрузите и установите приложение Android Auto из магазина Google Play (для телефонов Android). Для iPhone убедитесь, что включены Apple CarPlay и Siri. Если вы не видите опции для Apple CarPlay или Siri, обновитесь до последней версии iOS.

На экране Расширенное меню нажмите Настройка > Подключения к устройствам > Меню > Настройки проекции телефона > Android Auto или Apple CarPlay, а затем установите флажок > Включить Android Auto или включить Apply CarPlay в зависимости от модели вашего телефона.

Когда ваш смартфон заблокирован, сначала разблокируйте его, а затем дайте согласие на использование Android Auto или Apple CarPlay.

После обновления на прошивку от 28.04.2022, пароль 2400 перестал работать. Будьте внимательны.
Кстати, после обновления вылетать стал реже. Надпись не показывает, просто зависает на 5 сек, потом гаснет экран и через 3-4сек все подключается само. Но вылеты так и остались. Возможно, влияют глушилки в крупных городах. Так как по трассе за 500км не вылетает ни разу, а в Москве и в области периодически отваливается. Но, повторюсь, это только подозрения, анализ частот, естессно, никто не делал)))
