Driver Attention Warning (DAW+)

Technology that helps you stay alert and on course. The system notices if you’re losing concentration by monitoring the pattern of the steering wheel, acceleration and overall length of the journey. If your attention level seems low, it alerts you both visually and audibly. DAW+ also features a leading vehicle departure warning system that will alert you too if, for example, when in traffic, the car in front of you drives away and you don’t move.

Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go.

Effortless cruising by maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle directly ahead. SCC 3 aims to maintain the speed specified by you, the driver, and computes the relative position and speed of the vehicle ahead using its front view camera and front radar to keep a safe distance. The system controls acceleration and deceleration to make sure your Kia Ceed Sportswagon stops when the other vehicle ahead stops. When the vehicle ahead starts moving again, you will automatically start moving as well.

Lane Following Assist (LFA)

Keeps you centred and on course in your lane. The LFA system utilizes the windshield camera in order to monitor lane markings or the leading vehicle to make sure your Ceed Sportswagon remains centred in your lane. Available for all models with a manual and automatic DCT gearbox.

Mild Hybrid Drive

Smart power assistance

Get extra power for low-emission driving with no plug-in recharging. By cleverly pairing a diesel engine with a 48-volt lithium-ion battery, Kia’s mild hybrid system in the Ceed Sportswagon can reduce fuel consumption and vehicle emission levels. What’s more, the integrated ‘e-system’ recovers kinetic energy during deceleration phases to boost torque when accelerating.

Battery power helps the engine work more quietly, adding torque and using less fuel. The engine is started by the e-system for quick smooth starts and, when accelerating or driving uphill, it gives torque assistance by taking energy from the battery. And, when cruising at constant speed, the combustion engine partially recharges the battery if the charge level is low.

Save on fuel costs

Mild hybrid technology lowers fuel costs and emissions. On models with iMT 4 – when you lift your foot from the throttle and let the car coast – the engine switches off, resulting in fuel savings. When decelerating or braking, the energy generated recharges the battery — and when decelerating to a stop, the combustion engine turns off automatically to save fuel.

Kia Ceed Sportswagon: все подробности

На женевском стенде компании Kia — изобилие новинок. Впрочем, рестайлинговые седан и универсал Optima и хэтчбек Ceed третьего поколения были рассекречены раньше. Зато вместе с последним впервые представлена машина с грузопассажирским кузовом, которая на манер универсала Kia Optima зовется Sportswagon.

Однако уклон в «спорт» сопровождается приличным ростом размеров: при неизменной колесной базе (2650 мм) машина стала на 95 мм длиннее (4600 мм): разница с базовым хэтчбеком достигла без малого 30 см. Причем задний свес увеличился на 115 мм, а передний, наоборот, сократился на 20 мм. То есть приоритет логично отдан багажнику, объем которого вырос сразу на 72 л — до 600 л. Одновременно снижена погрузочная высота, «трюм» оснащен крючками и направляющими для крепления груза, а задние сиденья можно дистанционно сложить в ровный пол.

Оснащение подобно тому, что у нового хэтчбека Ceed: в топ-версиях есть светодиодные фары, обивка салона натуральной кожей, мультимедиасистема с восьмидюймовым сенсорным экраном, комплекс электронных ассистентов и аудиосистема JBL Premium. А фишка универсала — электропривод багажной двери.

Гамма европейских моторов точно такая же, как у соплатформенного универсала Hyundai i30 Tourer: бензиновая турботройка 1.0 T-GDI (120 л.с.), четырехцилиндровый мотор 1.4 T-GDI (140 л.с.) и турбодизель 1.6 CRDI новой серии U3 с отдачей 115 или 136 л.с. Каждый из них сочетается с шестиступенчатой «механикой», а турбочетверка 1.4 и дизель будут доступны и с семиступенчатым «роботом» с двумя сцеплениями. Но в Россию Kia Ceed Sportswagon, так же как и хэтчбек, приедет с двумя силовыми агрегатами: мотором 1.4 T-GDI и атмосферником такого же объема мощностью 100 л.с. Сложный и дорогой дизель U3 у нас вряд ли будет востребован, равно как и литровая турботройка, не сочетающаяся с автоматической трансмиссией.

Машины для Старого Света будут по-прежнему выпускаться в словацкой Жилине, а начало продаж запланировано на конец года. Впрочем, в России универсал обещан даже раньше: продажи Сидов третьего поколения с двумя типами кузовов начнутся в третьем квартале, почти одновременно с рестайлинговым седаном Kia Optima.

По уточненным компанией Kia данным, универсал Ceed Sportswagon в России будет продаваться с 2019 года.
