Воздухоочиститель — Clean Air

Всем привет !
В инструкции по функции воздухоочиститель написанно:

«Когда ключ зажигания находится в положении «ON» (Вкл.), воздухоочиститель включается автоматически.
Воздухоочиститель автоматически выключается, когда ключ зажигания поворачивается в положение «OFF»
(Выкл.).»

Есть вообще какая-то индикация, чтобы понимать работает эта функция или нет ?
У меня она вообще никак не подсвечивается даже — просто белая надпись над климатом.

Система ионизации воздуха Clean Air

Всем привет. Это касается владельцев комплектации Престижа и Премиума кто-нибудь чувствует полезность данной функции или хотя бы его отображения на дисплее . Короче чувствуете свежесть ионизированного воздуха. Просто стало интересно,перерыл кучу форумов,а ответа толком найти не смог. Все сводится к тому ,что он вроде бы есть,но его нет !

Это загадочная система, он вроде бы и есть, но ни как себе не проявляет. А так я даже не знаю как пахнет ионизированный воздух.

В машине есть эта «фишка». В инструкции сказано что она вкл/выкл при включении зажигания. А вот как она работает? Запахи с улицы все равно проникают.
Поиск по форуму что то ничего не дал.

Видел видео, где в комплектации премиум эта надпись светилась, раз у меня никогда не светится, сделал вывод, что у меня только надпись, а у премиума еще и лампочка)

The All-New 2011 Kia Optima EX Review

Why review the 2011 Kia Optima EX under my Clean Cars column?

For starters, Koreans caught my attention at the LA Art Show as one of two countries that consistently represented artists creatively set apart from others.

A unique combination of colorful, elegance, and symmetry.

Being the world traveler that I am, I know trends penetrate a culture’s industries.

So, naturally, I was curious: Does Kia Motors of Korea provide a colorful ride, an elegance, a symmetry?

Let’s start the 2011 Kia Optima EX engine, push the ECO mode button to ensure we’re rolling down streets as economically as possible, and get this baby started to find out.

Head and Neck Support

Unfortunately in Los Angeles a lot of folks complain,

«Oh, my back! Oh, my neck!» And the first thing they want to know is:

«Where can I buy the best seat? The best car seat? The best support for my head and neck seat?»

The 2011 Kia Optima EX offered comfortable sturdy seats, which adjusted to sit high—I love to sit high and feel like I’m queen of the road— and had sturdy back and neck support.

Symmetry and elegance incorporated into the design.

My driver seat had a power lumbar support, and up and down tilt headrest.

I adjusted my seat, programmed my preferences into the car so whenever I entered my car seat would automatically return to my preferred setting, and I chose not to heat or cool my seat. An option in both front and passenger seats, though backseats were just heat optional.

Speaking of heating, you can heat the steering wheel to keep hands cozy on cold days, too.

There appeared to be ample leg room, though truth be told, I did not have a particularly tall friend join me in the backseat.

The trunk accommodated a lot. In my short duration in the Optima, I transported groceries, gym bag, running shoes, bike shoes, framed photographs, boxes of water, and. that’s enough personal information.

Gas Mileage

The Kia Optima combined city/highway driving was about 27 mpg. I felt a degree of control to improve my mpg numbers by pushing the ECO button near the steering wheel. The ECO button helps the car’s efficiency by making best use of air conditioning, and oth er technology that can use extra fuel.

The 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine uses GTI, or gasoline direct injection technology, which is supposed to optimize fuel efficiency and decrease emissions under low load conditions. Low load must mean get all that stuff out of the trunk!

Not normally a category when describing cars, spunk is something I love, especially when going from 0 to please don’t hit me! when merging into traffic with drivers who don’t want to let me in.

In this case, Kia Optima had spunk.

On a scale of 1 to 10—-10 being a Porsche and 0 being my first welcome to Southern California with a Rent-A-Wreck that promptly broke down on the 405 Freeway, prompting me to take an impromptu walk in high heels (always have sneakers in the trunk)—-I’d give Kia Optima a respectable 7 for spunk.

The Kia Optima had a six-speed automatic transmission with Sportmatic TM

Sportmatic TM must mean spunk. In other words, colorful.

Attention please. The 2011 Kia Optima achieved the highest possible score—an overall five-star crash safety rating in crash tests done by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s NHTSA. It was already a «Top Safety Pick» determined by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

According to the CEO of Kia Motors America, Byung Mo Ahn, «As the most recent addition to Kia’s lineup, the 2011 Optima incorporates some of Kia’s most advanced safety technologies with head-turning style, performance, and comfort to provide consumers with high value and peace-of-mind.»

Like all Kias, the Optima has six airbags, side-impact door beams, lower anchors and tethers for children, tire pressure monitoring, plus more.

To sum up, Kia seems to be pretty safe but to play it super-safe, don’t get in an accident.

As I parked the car near Santa Monica, a middle-aged man pulled over, got out of his vehicle, and told me that was one good-looking car,

His hands on hips, «I hear the seats are comfortable. Do you think so?»

I was getting late for my spin class. «Yes,» I replied, «The seats are comfortable.» I stepped back to exit the conversation.

«I was in a. » that thing I just told you not to do, «and I need a really good seat for my back,» and as he spoke he started circling the car, kind of pacing around like we had all the time in the world.

I walked further back, toward spinning nirvana. (You’d have to spin to understand.)

«The Optima has really sleek lines,» he said. «It looks elegant like a European car. How long have you driven it?»

Long enough to know it’s eye-catching, I thought. The only down side seems to be explaining Kia’s Optima EX’s attributes while running late to class.

«I’ve got to go!» I said, «I’m running late to spinning. But please check out my Kia car review on Chasing Clean Air next week.»

And with that, I was off and my intuition was on—elegance and symmetry.

The Optima Kia EX offered many extras.

A few I particularly enjoyed were Sirius satelllite radio and the dual sun roof (expanding from driver to passenger in the back) giving an open feel.

Due to a storm during the time of my week test drive, I never made it to Mendocino as planned but rather tootled around Santa Monica and West L.A.

In Conclusion

Indeed, the All-New 2011 Kia Optima EX offered a colorful experience, with an elegance and symmetry, and technological advanced safety features, too.

When considering a mid-size sedan, I feel the Kia Optima is a worthwhile contender in the category that Honda and Toyota have ruled. If you check the Optima out, I suggest you also ask dealers about the All-New Kia Optima Hybrid, supposedly coming out this spring.
